According to the authorized announcement, "A strange encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where rumors of forbidden rituals and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret group.

The questline focuses on "strange experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Transformations

The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
