After a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection is back for a limited time that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.
The big draw is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade mapping application that can be used to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.
A regional fantasy map generated in the CC3+ software platform.
The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.
Starting at thirty dollars, the comprehensive package includes all the following:
Every volume of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and continents from almost any perspective. Users can also create character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.
Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, but you can also select their donation amount in the right-hand section. Additionally available is an donation allocation menu just below that, allowing you to adjust how much of your donation allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
